My New Years resolutions have always been along the lines of "read a book every month" or "read the classics." Thanks to my parents not allowing me to watch TV as a child, I was an avid reader up until high school when school work took over my pleasure reading.
However, I remain determined to read whenever I can and when I actually finish a book it's a miracle. This past long weekend I just finished Georgia by Dawn Tripp, a beautiful novel based on the love affair of artist Georgia O'Keeffe and photographer Alfred Stieglitz. It tore my heart in two, making me believe in love and doubt it all at the same time.
If you're looking for a quick read that will make you cry, consider giving this one a read.
